As a lifelong enthusiast obsessed with everything automotive, he began his auto journalist journey on Gawker Media's Oppositelock.com (RIP) about overpriced diesel trucks, car reviews on vacation, outstanding cars for sale, news, and his escapades with those cars in his ever-growing stable of cars—currently at 30 vehicles owned and one tractor!
This website was created out of an abundance of caution after the loss of Oppositelock and DriveTribe, due to the fact nearly 80% of the articles posted on those sites are gone forever. Blake was part of the Creators Program and USA Newsroom on DriveTribe with his articles amassing over 3 million views over 143 articles. He currently writes for The Cornea Impression and the new resurrected Opposite-Lock.com posting news and automotive reviews.
